Starting February 1st, 2022, you'll be charged a 10-cent deposit on ready-to-drink milk and plant-based beverages and get a 10-cent refund when you return the empty container for recycling.

Starting October 1st, 2020, deposits on beverage containers over 1 litre will change from 20¢ to 10¢. This will simplify the overall system and make it even easier for you to recycle all your beverage containers — regardless of size.
