Cowichan Valley Bottle Depot

“Not going anywhere?” sighed a disappointed Return-It Man. “But what are we going to do if we just stay at the Depot?”

“Don't worry I think the staff have something special for us” ensured Super Sidekick as the rounded the bend in the Return-It Mobile. “Well, here we are!”

“This can't be right, this looks like a campground.” said Return-It Man

Just then four Depot staff members peered from around one of the five tents set up. “Hooray there here” they all cheered. Indeed this was the Depot, magically transformed by the caring and hardworking staff into a campground themed Depot.

“Amazing!” exclaimed Return-It Man as he checked out the handy work. “They've got everything; tents, trees, face painting, a father's day craft section, bowling, can tossing, a real fire to roast marshmallows, hotdogs, and A LIVE BAND!!......I think I'm moving in” announced our Super Hero.

As the band warmed up Return-It Man led a few kids through a couple rounds of bowling, and toss the can, and of course a few spins of the coveted Prize Wheel. Kicking it into gear Return-It Man ran to the stage as the music kicked in, it wasn't long before the entire staff were lining dancing and cutting a rug on the floor with Return-It Man and Super Sidekick. “Wheuf, I'm crashing” admitted a fatigued Return-It Man

“Get him some roasted marshmallows” directed one of the kids.

With a belly full of marshmallows, Return-It Man was an unstoppable machine. He even had some time to run to the highway to hand out some balloons to the passing pedestrians.

“Well, only the amazing staff at the Cowichan Valley Bottle Depot could pull off an event like this” said Return-It Man as he packed his bag for the road, another job well done.

“Not yet” yelled the staff as they wheeled a cart filled with pies. “You haven't thrown a pie for charity yet” Return-It Man looked over his shoulder and saw his two favorite Depot friends grinning, faces poking out from a plastic tarp.

“Take your best shot” they both exclaimed.
