In 2023, we recovered 12,899 metric tonnes of end-of-life electronics! Thanks to the commitment of British Columbians, we’ve kept these devices out of landfills, reclaiming valuable materials like metals and plastics and returning them to the manufacturing supply chain.
86% of British Columbians Know How to Recycle Electronics
According to an October 2024 survey conducted by the Stewardship Association of BC (SABC), 82% of BC residents are aware of how to recycle electronics in an environmentally friendly way. Now, the focus is on making it even easier for everyone to recycle by ensuring accessible Return-It Electronics locations across the province.
