Week 5 Highlights
Cranbrook Bottle Depot
The small town of Cranbrook was buzzing with excitement as Return-It Man rolled in. Busting out with Frisbees, and Yo-yos, Return-It Man proved his reflexes were on par with his recycling skills! With open arms the wonderful community welcomed Return-It Man. Whether he was perusing the local mall, dancing for traffic or simply having a friendly chat with a happy customer, Return-It Man thoroughly enjoyed his
stay and can't wait for another opportunity to return.
Guildford Bottle Depot
Guildford was all about the pictures... Customers lined up like giddy school kids as they waited to get a snap-shot with Return-It Man. A few customers in particular made Return-It Man feel like a rock star as they made their recycling enthusiasm very apparent. From the depot to the mall, the kids couldn't get enough of our caped recycler. In fact, from one end of the mall to the other it felt like Return-It Man was leading a parade. As Return-It Man pondered the possibilities of his own marching band, he and super side-kick made their way back to the depot, and bid Guildford Bottle Depot adieu... for now!
Haney Bottle Depot
Right beside the busy Lougheed highway, the Haney Bottle Depot proved to be an ideal location for big waves and friendly smiles. Traffic always seemed to slow down as the surprised passengers waved frantically at our big blue Super Hero. From this location Return-It Man and super side kick were perfectly situated next to a huge sporting complex and were able to chat with the soccer moms and baseball dads, making sure all the sports teams were doing their part to hit a home run for recycling!
Newton Bottle Depot
The social clubs were out in full force, as Return-It Man was visited by everyone from Scouts to Walking groups. Quite the hit, Return-It Man bounced around roadside, the mall, and the depot. By noon the kids were literally hanging off him, as his Super Sidekick had to step in with Frisbees and T-Shirts. The fun continued at the surrounding parks, where more buzz grew of the famed Return-It Man. People lined up at the depot entrance to catch a glimpse and a photo of our favourite recycler.
