To support the continued growth of our business, we are actively recruiting for a full-time Program/Brand Registry Coordinator position

Job Description

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program/Brand Registry Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure successful delivery of the service contracts as well maintenance of the corporate brand registry of beverage containers.

MARR (Major Appliance Recycling Roundtable) and EPRA (Electronic Products Recycling Association) Programs

  • Manage public inquiries regarding MARR and EOLE (End Of Life Electronics) recycling programs via phone or emails
  • Process and periodically audit MARR collector claims
  • Work in collaboration with Accounting for claims payment
  • Process EPRA Processor Incentive claims after reconciliation of approved claim submission Vs billing
  • Follow up on late collection claims and reports
  • Maintain MARR and EOLE collection facilities on the Return-It/MARR and EPRA Websites
  • Assist the Program Manager with identification of free riders (non-compliant producers)
  • Order, prepare and ship out spill kits for both programs
  • Provide training for new collection sites (EPRA?)
  • Assist with annual audits of non-financial information
  • Produce monthly reports and other ad-hoc reporting as required;
  • Update and maintain existing databases
  • Perform some data entry related to MARR and EPRA programs;
  • Other duties as required, including special projects as they arise over the program development cycle.

Brand Registry/Product Registration

  • Maintain corporate database for ready-to-drink beverages sold in BC
  • Investigate and follow up on any used beverage containers not registered in the system
  • Correspond with brand owners on confirmation of beverages registered with Encorp;
  • Research and investigate newly acceptable beverages;
  • Respond to depots or Grocers’ enquiries regarding acceptable containers;

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and prioritize workload
  • Strong data entry skills and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Outstanding organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of the team and independently with minimal supervision when required

Education and Level of Overall Experience

  • Some College or University would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in an administrative support role
